First week of Psychology class is over and boy, oh boy have I been giving it a lot of thought: so I decided to just write about it like my creative writing tutor says I should. Here are just a few topics that the everyday person on this website might ask and here is my look on most of them.

Why do some people think writing fan fiction is dumb or 'gay'?

Well now, I don't really see how the act of making art is gay in any way or form... Unless it's about or involving gay people? I dunno... I guess that's just the words kids nowadays use to describe things they don't understand. The human mind can be a wonderful thing the learn about, but then again, it can be a real shitty thing too. In my opinion, people today, especially teen and young adults, are wired to mimic other people. We mimic people we see on television, our friends, our peers, and a lot of others! Sadly though, here lies the problem. We base our opinion off others, but sometimes those opinions can be hurtful. I can't even begin to count the amount of times I've had the word gay shouted at me (even though I'm not even gay!) because of my likes and actions. I'm not even a brony for that matter, I just like the fan fictions and writing about it because it's a good universe to set a story in.

So why do people think it's dumb or stupid to write fan fiction? I'm not really 100% sure actually. I do think that fanfic toon DOES in fact take away some of the originality of people's ideas, but still, it's great practice for aspiring authors! It's most likely because people who say it's dumb haven't actually ever tried writing before. Or maybe they have... And they suck at it. They're quitters and band wagon jumpers for the most part. Our brains tell us to take the easy way out! That's why we need to overcome that and do it the hard way or else we will never amount to anything!

How can I be famous on FiMFiction?

Is anybody really famous? When the day is over and all the likes are added up, do we really feel more deserving then others? Most of us here at FiMFiction are really just normal people with normal lives! Even though some of us are higher rated than others doesn't mean they live better lives then us. Somebody who has 10 followers probably has the same ordinary life as one with 1000 followers. We are all trying to. Ale our way in this world, but don't try and become famous the instant you let go of your leash, because then you'll end up rushing and doing terrible! As humans, we all want to be on top, and when we can't do that, we get frustrated and try harder, which only continues the cycle!

So how do you become famous on the site? You don't. That's the point. It's all luck or advertisement! Happy writing!

How do I get 1000 followers?

Well you could always hack the website... Or make 999 ghost accounts... Or get lucky and make a one hit wonder! People today aren't really looking for quality work anymore, sadly. All they want is to see their favorite writer spew some shit they wrote in a week and bam! It's got 1000 likes and 1000 comments and 1000 favorites and 50000 views! So sadly, you probably won't get 1000 followers in the next year or 5 years or 10 years! Then again... You could always get lucky.
