I would like to post something big, but... · 2:42pm Apr 27th, 2013
The cat I lived with for the past 15 years suddenly passed on last night, so I'm not in the mood for a long complex post about what I intended to post about. This also means that my fanfiction review is not happening this week. Coincidentally it was a sad fic that I planned to review (Sweet and Simple Closure, which I'll try to review next week), though I can give you a status update about "Luna Looks for Love" at least. I'm dealing, though, thanks to both an excellent pick-me-up in the form of a funny story and some melancholic music.
I'll post about the basic stuff, at the very least, however
Fanfic progress
When Comet died, I was about to continue writing the second "Luna Looks for Love", so progress has stalled at 2500 words in. I was hoping to get it out this time next week, but, since I am gonna have to take a few days off at least, that's looking to be about a week later than expected. I'm sorry about that, but I need some time before I'm in the mood to write again.
So sorry to hear about that. Can't say I know the feeling, but I hope you feel better soon about this.
My condolences on the loss of your beloved pet. I lost my cat, Emma last summer, so I can understand the pain of your loss.
My condolences to the passing away of your cat. Having formerly owned fish, chickens, and rabbits, I've had to deal with several pets passing away over the years but it is always saddening each time. My current pet now is actually my cat, Zero the Hero, but he's only four years old (human years at least) so I know I'll have him around for a long time to come but still, as the first thing I wake up to the in morning (or rather he wakes me up first thing in the morning) I know I'll be devastated when his time comes.
On a happier note, I'm glad that mine and Rated's fanfic was able to serve as pick me up. The news you shared was saddening but we're glad it was able to make your day and situation even a little better.
