I think I may need to just hurry this chapter along. I've gotten back to working on it, and have tightened things up and gone on to write a little more, but I think I may need to content myself with "Time Passes", rather than filling the time with character-studying conversation.
On the plus side a few weeks ago I wrote a 1,100+ word poem related to the story, and also realized that a certain stand-alone story would be best done by working it into the plot of "The Two Deaths of Fluttershy".
On the minus side the poem is spoiler-y enough I won't be able to publish it for a while, and the short-story-turned-chapter can't come that much earlier.
In other news, one of my older, unpublished, stories may have become outdated, due to my headcanon regarding Twilicorn. So I might go ahead and publish that, since it wouldn't take anything away from "The Two Deaths of Fluttershy" to just hit the "Publish" button, and the flaws that originally kept me from publishing it aren't worth fixing since I would have to rewrite the whole thing to account for Twilicorn.
Do you have a specific date or time when you are going to have your next chapter posted?

Nope. If anyone can help me bridge some time and discussion between two points, they should PM me... that is the big bug-a-boo here. After that comes the overall-pre-read for characterization and plot, then reading it out-loud to myself to catch most of the spelling* and grammar mistakes. Then I publish the chapter.
*The sort of spelling mistakes that automatic spell-checkers miss.
Noted.

Of course, as soon as I say that, your reminder causes me to figure out a way to kludge it together well enough for pre-reading... I'll send out some requests soon, and see when people get back to me (it generally takes several days).
1058072 I am not worried about you posting you story up right now but just wanted to know how the progress was going.
