That's basically my excuse for not doing anything, not that I haven't been doing nothing. I have gotten some writing done, but not near enough I suppose.
I blame Lost Saga and Fire Emblem. I thought Lost Saga was dead and gone forever, but now that it's back in full swing I find myself stuck on it so hard all the crowbars in the world wouldn't help. Fire Emblem: Awakening has been in my hands for a while now, but ever since I stamped the living spunk out of that random stranger's Street Pass Team I've been building an army of impossibly powered super-units equipped with the finest weaponry. In fact, both Lost Saga and Fire Emblem are pretty much games about training and equipping a team of characters with different skill sets and different tactical purposes... huh...
When I'm not trying in true vanity to construct a fighting force that just might capture even the slightest essence of my own superiority, I've been predominately writing stuff that isn't The Hollow Kingdom. I really haven't got the guts to publish anything, but that's mostly because neither of the two stories I have are done. One of them would be a series about a hotel that exists in a way that's only theoretically possible told in a first person progressive narrative with the star of the show being Clyde Pie and the other is a long one-off that is marginally about time travel.
I make no promises about Exhibit O. I'm sure once I get back into Hollow Kingdom, I'll really get back into it so don't worry. The main reason Exhibit N came around so fast is because it was pretty much already written. All I had to do was finish it up and put it out, but blah blah blah excuses and such. I just wanted to say "hey-o how you doin'?" just to put things in perspective.
I shall wait patiently.
I could proofread your other stuff once its ready if you'd like, and if it'd help you publish. I'm pretty sure we all love your work.
In any case, I am rather aware of just how gripping Fire Emblem can be, you have my sympathies.
