Semblance of Normalcy · 4:48pm Mar 28th, 2013
Well, the last three months have been hell, but I'm finally returning to 4 day, 40 hour work weeks. Which means spare time. And no distractions, because I'm also single again. Maybe I can finally get some writing done.
For now though, I'm gonna finally catch up on my read update list and gotta organize a meetup next weekend. Taking the local bronies downtown Chicago to see Hey Ocean (DRINK CIDER LEARN NOTHING)
I'll be around lurking. Reading Anthropology right now. Been meaning to scratch it off my read list for months and now I HAVE to so I don't look like an ass when JasonTheHuman guests on my Trotcon panel.
So you've normally done 4-day weeks? How you liking that? My dad ended up doing 9-days-per-2-weeks and seemed to really like it. Personally, idk how I could reschedule myself to 4-day weeks when I have so many meetings.
Glad to hear normalicy is returning!
I like the extra days off. My days are just long an unpredictable. I work in animal rescue so my day could be realtively normal 8-10 hours but usually it ends up being a grueling 12-14 (more if I'm on call) if we have a high volume of calls.
