For what it's worth, I once said "I'd like to ship Raindrops and Roseluck". I then wrote a oneshot called "Raindrops on Roses", which I killed in the proofreading phase. But it does happen.

Wow, FIMFic really doesn't like untitled blog posts! I had to go to my feed, your user page, your blogpost listing, and finally the "Read Full Post" link in the sidebar before I could actually get to this to leave a comment. Today I learned.

Anyway —

I totally thought this was going to be an excuse for some joke about what the ship would be named. Y'know how Twilight x Luna is "TwiLuna", Cheerilee x Big Mac is "Cheerimac" etc.? Would this be "Dropworthy"?

… If you did a crossover with the Peanuts comic strip and shipped Noteworthy and Charlie Brown, you could have "Brown Note."

I have just realized, to my horror, that as of Chapter 12, My Harshwhinnial appears to be FIMFic's first Luna x Cadence.

(I found several stories with princess three-ways due to a botched love spell, but none that shipped the pair specifically.)

Huh. I would have thought there would have been a few, just on a pair all the alicorns basis. Though, technically, it's not fimfictions first published story with that pairing, since you never hit the publish button. You could write a quick oneshot and publish it, just to be able to say the pairing's out there.

Of course, pair all the alicorns would also give you Twilight x Cadance. I could see how that would get started pretty easily, too. "Sunshine, sunshine, Ladybugs awake; clap your hooves and do a little shake" indeed.

For that matter, I just realized that Twist x Rumble isn't being shipped by anyone else. (Only fic with those two tags is actually 'Rumble gets blowjobs from every filly in town', and wouldn't count.). Pity, the more I think about it, I think it's kind of a cute pairing.

Raindrops and Roses is a great ship name, which is why I get tempted to resurrect that fic occasionally. That and I really liked the version of Daisy I wrote for that story. Better then the main characters, unfortunately...

I don't know. To me, Moondance sounds like Nightmare Moon x Cadance. Which is an entirely different level of awesome.

Nightmare Moon manages to seduce Princess Cadance, brings her along to the dark side, and they try to bring about eternal night and hot steamy love all across Equestria.

I'd like to read that, actually, but it is entirely different then Luna x Cadence. Though love x dreams has potential, too.
