A friend got me thinking!

I got a good friend at my fanfiction account that tell me something that caught my attention. At first we where talking about League of Legends a game we both like and played. On one of her story's chapter she mentioned that she is also a fan of My Little Pony (go figure) so I ask her what do you call a female fan of My Little Pony. Is it MLP fans or just fans? We know that male fans are called Bronies and I myself is proud to be one. But I mean really one do you call a fan of MLP that's not a guy? I wonder what should they be called? (NO SEXIST BY THE WAY)

We can call them what they want but I myself just want to have an official calling for them.

While where chatting she said that Pegasisters might be a good name, what do you think?

Pegasisters is already generally widespread and recognized, but I think girls prefer being called Bronies as well. But 'Pegasister' is already somewhat accepted.

I been calling females Pegasisters forever!!! Some think it's sexist but I disagree, why not give the women who like the show their own name?
