I got a message from the person who made the vector that I used as the image for "For I Am A Jelly God." Her work's credited in the story's description now, as well it should be.

This leads me to the unfortunate realization and confession that I've never actually sought artist's consent for the use of their pictures in my stories. I need a picture, I generally go to ponibooru and don't really think about who drew it. I've already apologized to emmytee for failing to credit her, so I'm going to do the same for the other artists whose work I've been using without permission.

Come to think of it, though, I don't quite know what I'll do if they say no. Hmm. I guess I could contribute my own art?

Closer inspection reminds me why I never sought permission on the Pony Gear Solid picture. It isn't credited with a source or email address. Just the name "Ben."

Anybody know who Ben is?
