We are back in business!

So sue me, I'm a little bit behind the times, but I finally saw the Season 3 finale just tonight.

And let me tell you all once again: there is no better feeling than when something that you just wildly guessed at gets vindicated by the official story. In this case, I guessed a while back that the crown we usually see Celestia wearing wouldn't in fact be the "official" crown, and when I saw her wearing something else for Twilight's Coronation, I was like "Aha! Called that!" (As a side note, the Equestrian Crown Jewels will feature heavily in Act III of Legends, but that is a way off.

However, what's not a way off (hence, the reason why this post is being made) is the new release of what's been re-worked thus far in my rewriting of the story. The new version is, in my opinion, about a thousand times better than the old one. Not to put the previous version down too much, but there are some mistakes I made the first time around that I was literally shocked at going through again.

So everyone out there that's been waiting so patiently (and thank you all for that) tonight is the night that we get back on track. The new version of Ascending Star features so many things that I wish I could have included the first time around. For one, I felt that Discord got seriously shafted as far as screen time went, so there's a lot more of him now. Every character has a purpose, rather than just being a name, sometimes without even a face.

And of course, the new version slots far better into the still-developing world of this universe.

So THANK YOU everyone who has supported me this far. With luck, soon enough we can get back onto a serious track.
