Alternate ending for In Her Sancturary · 6:06pm Mar 5th, 2013
Hello! I hope this posts finds you all well.
So... In Her Sanctuary. Wasn't that fun? It sure was interesting to write. Who knows what the next challenge one-shot will be. If you have a very simple concept, maybe I'll take that as a challenge and write that.
That said, there is an alternate ending for In Her Sanctuary. It was recommended not to use this one, but I wanted to share that it existed, but didn't want to just bump the story with less than a hundred words for a chapter.
And likely the story would have been much more depressing.

Cadance took a deep breath before looking over at Twilight’s body. Her lips curled up in a smile now that she was finally alone with her favourite little filly. She was so lonely in the Crystal Empire, and Shining Armour missed his sister terribly. It would be like bringing the entire family together again.
“Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake…”
This made me burst into laughter strangely enough...
You'd think Spike would have an opinion of the situation, since he's likely to still be around.
I expected something different if it is an alternate ending but it still ended the same, just used different words
