I can't find any inspiration for my writing · 6:36pm Feb 28th, 2013
Work is such a bitch. I haven't even written 4-500 words on the new FiD chapter and I have no goddamn clue on how to proceed because I'm stuck at the entire part from Twilight's encounter with the Kellion's crew and their arrival at the Ishimura. I don't even have time to proceed. Our genius teachers have decided lay out exam dates at the dumbest possible intervals. I literally have one exam per week now, and practically all of my time goes to reading to them. Speaking of which, I have one in biology tomorrow. Feels like 25000 new words to learn.
Fuck this. Might as well rewrite FiD again and restart, or at least the beginning.

It's not so much an issue about canon than it is about writing and suspension of disbelief. I don't want everyone onboard to simply go "oh look, a purple unicorn, now let's go kill necros!" It feels forced, and it's the main reason I want to rewrite the beginning. But thanks anyway.
Do what I do, grab a cup o' coffee, play a game, drink some beer then stay up till four in the morning writing shit as you get a random epiphany.

How about when twilight gets aboard the kellion isaac takes her to the one who is in charge (sorry only played dead space 2) and interrogate her then when they are certain she is of no threat the give her a rig then the plot begins

On a funny note, I tend to replay the first thirds of most games over and over because those are teh areas wheny you can have the most impact on how the later game is played.

Aw, but you haven't even gotten past where Isaac and Twi see each other for the first time on your current rewrite. Oh, well. If you think it's necessary, go ahead and do it, but it seems a bit like an overreaction to writer's block to me.
