Sequel Update & Pictures · 6:47pm Mar 10th, 2012
Okay, just wanted to let everypony know that chapter four of the sequel is officially done. :) I'll continue to post progress updates via blogs in the future as well, along with a few blurbs of what's happening with it. I can't give a definite date as to when it will be released, obviously, but this should let ponies have a reasonable estimate of progress. After this point, I will NOT tag Memory Pending in the blog however until the very last blog before posting the sequel. If you want to have alerts as to the rest of the blogs, watch my profile instead. If you only want the blog that will announce the release of the sequel, just watch Memory Pending instead. ^_^
Also! I added a picture of the custom Moon Mender pony that was sent to me, and the really nice drawing that came with it. Both pictures have their cutie marks censored until revealed in the story, of course. You can find em here:

I'm predicting a crescent moon with something within the gap. If not, OH WELL. Anyway, SUPER psyched for the sequel! I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I am you allowed Mender another tale to tell. It would've just left me heartbroken for him to go out like that with no reward for his sacrifice! Just SUPER thrilled for the next installment.

Dang man, you write fast. Already four chapters done!? Are you writing while sleeping, cause that would be pretty cool. Though most of it would probably consist of jarbled gobeldy-gook. Or maybe it could provide a window INTO YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS. Some psychoanalysis goin' on here. Perhaps your pairing of Twilight AND Fluttershy with Mender comes from a deep desire to, I don't know, become Captain of a container vessel
(see what I did there?).
Cutie mark predictions: The moon from Majora's Mask, or the one from Bear in the Big Blue House. Both would be equally as frightening and infringing on copyright.

Oooh, that's a tough one. Hum. Well I'm halfway through chapter five now, and the intro arc is ALMOST done. I'm going to guess six chapters for the intro, if I can contain my own writing.

But to be more specific? There's probably three to five chapters an arc, then another four or five for the conclusion, depending on how much I restrain myself. So assuming four for the conclusion, six for the introduction, that's ten guaranteed. Then bare minimum three for each arc would put it at nineteen chapters. But if I don't lessen it, it could extend all the way into the twenty-five range.

That would be one of those aforementioned cases where I couldn't finish the sequel. Mmm, jail time.

And probably six chapters. And yeah, each chapter is a little over six thousand words so far. I'm trying to keep them between twelve and fourteen pages, but like my New Years resolutions, I just assume that will eventually become a lost cause. 
Then three arcs at around three to five chapters apiece, and the conclusion, which should be four or five chapters. This is all just an estimate of course, based off my typical writing and what I have planned. 
I like to write. Sorry.
