    So I've started writing

Yeah. So I've started writing again. It isn't anything pony but it's still writing nonetheless. I recently reread this crime/suspense novel about this psychotic serial rapist/murderer and I got to thinking, "Maybe I should try something like this."

    So hey again

So I'm thinking of quitting my current job and trying to find something else. My level of dissatisfaction with my job has reached new lows and I just can't see how my minimal pay is really worth it anymore. I'm angry at management and I get angry at customers and I'm constantly dreading going back the next day and I'm depressed and it sucks and I hate it and I just don't think any amount of money

    Logging on

When I log on, I like to go around and take peeks at old faces and posters who I used to know back in the day only to find that they've either retired or vanished without a trace. It feels like visiting a group of old friends only to realize all I see are tombstones. And I suddenly feel very old and lonely.

    Feeling a bit guilty

I feel a little guilty for having left The House on Mayberry Hill alone for so long. It's not something I enjoy. Writing used to be so fun. I wonder when/how/why it turned into a chore. I remember sitting in front of my computer for hours just typing away at something. I'd be so enveloped in what I'd write that I'd become disconnected from the real world. Writing was so much fun. I wonder why I

    Bah and stuff

So it's been a month since I last wrote a blog post about something. Partially due to not being able to think of anything to write and also because I've been incredibly bored and whenever I get very bored, I get all "blah".

Imma rant about something · 5:21am Feb 23rd, 2013

*boop*

Okay. So earlier tonight I got a call from from work asking me if I'd possibly be free tomorrow morning if the person who's scheduled for the morning pulls a no-show because apparently they have a history of that. Anyways, even though I'm looking to accomplish some chores tomorrow, I reluctantly agreed to come in if that person doesn't show. This is ridiculous. Even earlier this week (Thursday I think it was) I got a call around 11 in the morning asking if I could come in because someone didn't show up. Fortunately for me, I had to pick my brother up from school that afternoon so I had to decline and then I got asked to go in last Friday afternoon as well when I went in to get my schedule after picking my brother up from school. God this is so ridiculous. I know we're kinda short on staff but come on. Three times in a week I've been asked to come in because somebody didn't show. Whatever.

this was pretty unruly for me a couple years ago as my co-workers often called off and I could never plan for anything, even on my days off I can't enjoy myself. For my sister's graduation a few years ago, I had a couple days off to help set up for the party. It wasn't until Sunday anyway so I had Thursday and Friday off, Saturday I work a closing then have Sunday off for my sister's party. So Thursday I start staining the deck and I get a call from my manager asking me to come in. I was told I had to stay and get the deck done, well my manager always tries to pull a guilt trip of me because of an unfaithful employee not coming in and he was supposed to be back at day but got lost. And so I go in and close, I promise my mom I would stain the deck earlier the next day and double time it.

Guess what? My manager calls me up the next day and asks the same thing. This time I was more persistent and told him I really had to set up for this party but this time he says no one was available. Again he tries to pull the same thing I told my mom and she said we're going to have to put some lame carpet down to cover the crappy parts of the deck. She was ticked but whatever extra money, I go in but pissed and told my manager and said he needed to get this employee out because I am tired of covering for him and I can't enjoy a simple day off without him playing sick or not coming in because he doesn't feel like it. He said I could have said no, then I told him right there in front of other managers that I did and was not putting up with the other employee anymore. For my little revenge I do a half assed job then come back in on Saturday not wanting to talk.

Sunday I turned my phone off. and after that, I changed my phone numbered.

you really can't help how your employer hires these idiots because they have no way of knowing that they suck and can't keep their own lives running. if you want a day off in advanced, tell them in advanced. Not the day before and the week of, we put schedules up a week before. And if you did not tell them you can't work those times then you sunk yourself. After that, I got employees who try to play sick during the winter season and it snows pretty bad here. Sometimes I get calls on my cellphone and texts but I don't answer them.

if they ask you in advanced like early in the week then sure, but the day before is a big no for me.
