Here are my thoughts.
The songs were okay I'm don't a fan of singing after all singing annoy the hell of me I mean the characters as to sing about everything? 
The switching of the cutie marks was pretty clever, and a few moments were funny, but when Twilight became an alicorn princess, I lost it. Seriously, I don't like her as a princess! I liked her better as a unicorn, I mean Twilight can become a princess without by a alicorn 
I mean the main six was organized by Twilight Sparkle and they are made as a good balance since is made of two unicorn, two earth-ponies and two pegasus and THE MAIN SIX NOW IS MADE OF AN ALICORN, A UNICORN, TWO EARTH PONIES AND TWO PEGASUS. IT JUST DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY.
So once Hasbro change Twilight into a alicorn they fuck up the main six, Twilight live forever and her friends not so they will die and Twilight will live forever and she will deep depresses and not come to tell me that all her friends going to become alicorn because that will fuck up even more.
Also this episode needs a two part alright, this seemed rushed to me and the previously season final episode have tow part well except season 1
I still question why this season was only 13 episodes that too lazy, well I once told you Hasbro and I will tell you again, you so take time on making new episode not make new episode every Saturday.
Felix...it's a three parter. The first two episodes of season four are going to revolve around Princess Twilight.
Hasbro can be assholes. I'm in with the Transformers crowd, so I know that feel better than most here. Just grin and bear it.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the third season was 13 episodes long because it needed to go through syndication or something. Maybe paving the road for Equestria Girls. Unlike some people think though, LPS did NOT leech off production costs.
But then, Winx Club had gone of fine with consistent 26 episode seasons, so I'm starting to think that Equestria Girls is leeching off it instead of syndication.
So, if EG turns out like crap, then I'll throw a huge, unnecessary tantrum.
But back on topic, Magical Mystery Cure was rushed, there were too many songs in one place. You basically sum up what I think of the episode.

There is confirmation of a Spin-off of MLP:FiM to be called Equestria Girls in of which the Mane Six get turned into humans. I also remember that somewhere it said that it's target is teenage girls.
