Update on where things are

So, hello all.

For the past month and a half, I have been buried up to my neck in school work, and I haven't been able to get around to the writing as much as I would like to, but I want to make it absolutely clear that I am not going anywhere. Legends of Equestria is bigger than me, it's by far the largest project I have ever undertaken, and I'll be damned if I ever let it fall by the wayside.

I have actually spent a bit of time these past few weeks working on the lore of the universe, which I am compiling into a couple of Appendices. Unfortunately, since these are Appendices to the total story, they can't be released until the end of LoE. But they have helped me to solidify my view of the universe that LoE takes place in, as well as my plans for the future. That's right folks, even if Legends is the biggest thing I have ever written, it is NOT the end.

For perspective, allow me to demonstrate using the universe's timeline, which I drew up a little while ago. The first entry is in ~35 000 B. E. (Before Empire). This date is:
38 250 years before the show begins;
36 731 years before Celestia is born;
33 774 years before Equestria is discovered by the ponies;
5 434 years before ponies first EVOLVED.

As you can see, we are dealing with a fairly broad section of history. This universe is just so freakin' MASSIVE; it boggles my mind. But I promise that even if it takes me years, I am going to see this through to its end. And fourteen stories down the road, we'll be looking back on today with the hindsight that only the future can offer.
