Alright, so two big pieces of news. At least for me. The first is regarding Dawning Reality. I know there are a handful of you that really like the story and support it (And to some extent, support me), and then there's just the rest that read it casually and if they don't like it, they be hatin', so I just wanted to say I love you all, no matter which one of these categories you fall into. And so, I'd like to announce that I will be updating the first part of Chapter 10 tonight. I'm leaving for work in a few minutes, which is why I'm not updating it now. Plus, hopefully the site will be fixed by the time I get back, just in case.
The reason I chose to upload Chapter 10 in multiple parts is because It's a pretty radical chapter compared to the previous ones, so I'd like to take it step by step, weight the reactions, and then continue on my way. I have it pretty much complete at a whopping 27k words, but I think I'll just upload it bit by bit, maybe split it into two chapters. Of course, you realize that breaking chapters apart into parts is pretty ironic, but I don't know, it just works well for me and the continuity of the story. Just.... Just go with it, ok?
Now, for the second news, it's really regarding me as a brony and not really my writing (Well, kinda, but not really), so if you just read this for DR, you can leave, happy to know that you're getting a new chapter tonight. Or maybe not so happy. We'll see...
I'm coming out of the Brony closet. It's official. I'm in Uruguay, as some of you may know, but I really want to get more involved in the International Brony Community, so I'm going to start saving up to buy some pony merch, and perhaps someday go to BronyCon! Maybe not this year. Maybe not next year. But I am DEFINITELY going to Bronycon SOMEDAY! I considered perhaps doing commisions, you know, writing stories for other people who have difficulties expressing themselves with the written word, but I'm not THAT good a writer... However, if you guys want, I'll probably take a break from writing DR, since I'm just revising Chapter 10 now, and I might be willing to do a couple of practice commisions, just to see how it goes, for FREE! I sincerely doubt I'll ever charge for commissions, unless I'm hired as a freelance for some sort of epic novelization. But whatever, I'm rambling now. The BIG POINT is that I'm hoping to one day join your ranks as a true brony, and see all of you guys over at BronyCon!!!
PS - SocraticBrony, I know you're reading this, so just know that if by the time I get to go to BronyCon you're already famous and are dancing up on stage with Tara and John, I expect you to at least give me a shout-out, ok? :wink:

I wonder how long it'll take me to get off my lazy ass long enough to read chapter 10... And I really hope Bronycon is still a thing by the time I can afford to actually attend. It should be. If the Transformers fans can do BotCon for so long, there shouldn't be any reason why we can't, seeing as how the fandom just exploded and how EqD's pageviews grow exponentially.
Fantastic. Not gonna lie, yo had me worried for a second that you might be qiting. It's been happening too often lately, but this is most definitely much better news. Enough... way to hoose a concerning title there, mate.
