Okay, so... before I finally get to start writing anything for CHoM (more info in the previous blog post), I have two lesser projects I want to finish before that. For me, this would be more or less a way of gaining additional readers and watchers (hopefully) for my main project before it actually gets posted.
One of the lesser projects is a short comedy where mane six, due to Twilight's spell, gets unintentionally turned into a hydra. The storyline is around 95% complete. I've written 4k words of it so far, which would be maybe 50% of the final length of the story.
The second one is a dark romance with mature content, where Twilight and Spike are the main characters. The story takes place around 120 and 480 years into the future of the show, so I hope it would be at least a little bit original considering all those Spilight fics on the site. Similar to the first fic, this one's storyline is 90-95% complete. By my estimate the whole story will be around 20k words long, of which I have written 8k words this far.
I hope I can finish them both by the end of February... Although, thanks to all these delays and my overall laziness, a chapter from CHoM that would be a somewhat dull info dump, evolved into a rather interesting 3 part chapter with a lot of retrospections. So, all in all I regret nothing
