I have recently gotten some complaint about how often I update my story and how long the chapters are. During the school year I will have less time to write my chapters, so until the May of this year there will be slow progress on my story. School comes first, other wise I would not be able to work on my computer write the newest chapters.
Next thing is why the chapters are shorter, because when I try to make them longer I fell like the explanations and details are far to long. For the sake of making up for lack of updates I will make the next few chapter longer if at all possible.
Not only that I have to send the newest chapter to my editor and he might not always be able to get to it right away. You can't just assume he is waiting for me to email the next chapter every second of the day. Also I have to and want to do besides writing, I really enjoy it but it isn't my only skill.

You are a writer and you have an audience but they don't control the rate and progression of the story it is all under your control. If they realy like your work they will understand.
