Social Standards update postponed a little longer. · 5:43am Mar 1st, 2012
Uh, so, okay. Here's the deal.
I initially postponed Chapter Nine of Social Standards because I'm writing a oneshot for my boyfriend's birthday. (It will be published March 7th, if everything is timed appropriately.)
The thing is, I have auditions the same day for a production of Mark Twain's Is He Dead? (Cecile LeRoux, here I come!)
And then I'm leaving for CalState Fullerton for an acting competition.
Seriously.
Like... two days later.
I can try to get something out. I repeat: try.
I refuse to put out something with my name on it that's crap, though.
Anyway, I won't be putting a hiatus tag on it because after the ABSOLUTE LATEST you can expect to see an update is March 19th. I repeat, this is the latest. I'll try to get something out earlier. I completely forgot I was invited to come compete at Fullerton. (I need to memorise my two monologues 
)
I'll be actively working on the chapter at a really slow pace.
Social Standards is by no means cancelled!

Good luck Rada, the stories great. Don't feel rushed, I noticed last chapter was originally posted with some speeling and grammar mistakes. I made the same mistake with my first fic ( I only have two though so it's not like I've been doing this forever) and it didn't get that well recieved. Then I'm taking it slow focusing on quality control and it has noticeabley been recieved better (but that's possibly because the concept of Sweetie Belle having to deal with the troubles of coming out in school is more interesting than a hetero Vinyl
). Long story short, good luck and take your time, don't feel rushed. Also, I know it's kind of late but conratualtions on making on to Equestria Daily.

This makes me sad, but I understand. RL has to come first.
Good luck with the one-shot for your bf's birthday and with all those auditions! As a music major I understand how stressful those can be. If you're as wonderful at acting as you are at writing I'm sure you'll do fantastically!

besides, Social Standards is just a little TOO good to just up and cancel like that.
You take as long as ya need to make it good. I keep up with over a dozen fanfics at once anyway, so breaks just mean I can start new ones.

Hah, I actually don't go to Fullerton. They host an acting competition, and my high school is going.

If I could ask you a question, though. Have you been in the theatre there? I've never been before, and I've got two monologues to perform and I've no clue what the theatre size is. I'm nervous, to be frank.
