Hi, everyone.
It's been a long, long time.
I've dealt with some stuff in my life and I thought about maybe picking Social Standards up again.
My main fear is that my followers and readers HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED and because of that, have ceased to care.
I really want to pick it back up again, but I have no reason to if Social Standards holds no more interest in anyone. My main plan was that I would change lives. That's what I plan to do. It's what I've done, and I'm happy to do it, but all of it is so meaningless if no one recalls or cares to recall what's happened thus far. That's my own fault.
Can I just have a comment from everyone who WOULD continue to read SS if I picked it back up again?

Only about a year ago I accepted my homosexuality, and not long after I did get into Social Standards. I've since come a long way, and even if I don't particularly need it now, it's a good story.
I haven't read it yet, but have been interested in doing so for a long time. Only reason I didn't was because it's more fun to read a complete story in one go rather than wait for it to increment out.
I was just thinking about this story oddly enough. I would very much like for it to continue.

I was really enjoying the story, it felt very realistic. To be honest, I really wish I was as good at writing drama as you are.
I do truly hope you continue it. It's brilliantly written, and involves a ship that I have a huge soft spot for.
I would be genuinely disappointed if it stopped, I haven't been reading as much fanfic lately but if it started again, I KNOW I would start reading more, Social standards absolutely captivated me and honestly, I've missed reading such well written drama, and I miss having that feeling of novelty for the fact that it's like nothing else I've found.

I don't normally comment but I had to mention that SS was one of the first stories I read on this site. No doubt you were one of the first people I followed. I was hoping for the hiatus to end and I'd be thrilled if you picked this story back up.
I should also note that Social Standards has inspired me to start writing on my next fanfic. You are making a really wonderful story, it would be a great shame to leave it where it is without an ending.
