[SPOILER] An image of Twilight in her natural state.

    Hello!

    Have a look at this!

Yep, this is a thing that has been made. It was for a good cause; the Combined Community Charity Challenge is what motivated this.

Head on over to Obvious Decoy's DA page and take a look at all the other cool drawings there!

    Something Trixie this way comes...

I'm in the process of submitting my second story. It has Trixie in it!

It is also unrelated in any way to my first story, though there are some similar concepts. I just thought I'd make that clear.

    Happy reading!

    On the season finale.

I call bull on Starswirl's incomplete masterpiece. If it's incomplete, why does Celestia call it a masterpiece to begin with?

Because it's meant to be. The entire point of the spell is that the incomplete half, together with a personalized other half, creates a personal alicorn transformation spell.

Celestia sent the spellbook to Twilight knowing exactly what would happen.

There's something that has recently come up in the show...

...and I just can't wrap my head around it. It's driving me to distraction.

I'm talking about the fact that the Crystal Empire is so close to Ponyville that the train ride there and back takes less than an afternoon. It's two completely separate biomes, fer Celestia's sake! They'd be thousands of kilometers apart on an Earth-scale and type planet.

As Rainbow Dash would say: DONE DONE DONE! · 3:19pm Jan 17th, 2013

The Creature is officially finished.

I had serious misgivings about ever reaching this point. But here I am! It's a relief, because if you're left with questions it means I intended it. Yes, there are ideas floating around. No, I don't know if they'll ever amount to anything. We'll see. The entire concept of a human being raised by ponies intrigues me. The psychological aspects are especially fascinating. So as I said, we'll see -though it will probably be much more slice-of-life than The Creature.

For now, though, I'll rest my imagination and see if I can find the energy to go back over the older chapters and update their format so it's consistent through the entire story.

After that... who knows? I might hear the siren's call of writing again.

See ya!

Re: Raising a Human

It would certainly be a strange childhood, likely followed by a lonesome adolescence.
Although I have a feeling that they would likely get along very well with the other, Nonpony races.

Hope to see you again soon!

When I first saw this story I was worried about the dark tag. In the end the story was intriguing enough to keep me reading. Although the focus jumped around a bit and there was no real anchor to a certain character's development (consideration of their own actions and internal turmoil that leads to eventual acceptance), I enjoyed the adventure aspect of the story immensely. Just my own uninformed and opinionated thoughts.

I hope you do follow up the story of twilight's adopted child or whatever strikes your fancy.
