Chapter 2 just got a fancy little overhaul with this little number I whipped up:
I wish I could've had it ready back when I first submitted the chapter, but I hadn't even started vectoring all that time ago. I think it came out pretty good, actually. Aside from the paper texture, which seemed to blur a little when I upsized it unlike the vector graphics, I'm relatively happy with it. It's certainly a way to spice up chapter 2 for all the new readers.
And because I've been lazing about on it, I'll just throw up Mach's SPECIAL here. I was going to do this whole overly-elaborate thing where I vectored the ScoutBuck as it would appear to Mach showing his own stats, but that's just me going overboard. Keep in mind that this is Mach's SPECIAL at max level, with all perk bonuses factored in. Anyway, here it is:
Strength - 2*
Perception - 9
Endurance - 9
Charisma - 7
Intelligence - 4
Agility - 9**
Luck - 3
* +2 When fighting Enclave.
** -2 When on the ground or indoors, raises to 10 when in the air (being indoors trumps the bonus granted from flight).
So yeah, that's Mach in a nutshell. Hits like a wet noodle, but can take a beating. Smart (but naïve!) and quick, terrible luck.

Allow me to repeat that, War machine in all his armored glory, complete with Autocannon, articulated arm minigun, rocket launcher and ballistic hooves. Yes I'm a horrible tease.

Paid or not, doesn't matter. It's the gesture itself that has me all worked up.
I've got a couple paid commissions in the pipeline myself, actually. Like I said previously, power armor is beyond me, and the Wraithwing's armor design is so complicated that I doubt I'd be able to pull it off, but I want to see it on paper so bad. Commission one is a solo picture of him, and the second is Mach, Greaser and Razorbeak fighting off the Radwasps once MisterMech finally gets around to me in his queue. I can't wait for that one, personally; his style is so expressive and I want to see how well he captures my main three.
There's one more I'm after, aside from those two. I'm waiting for CSImadmax to open up commissions again so I can get the cover for Razorbeak's side story done. I've got a real good idea in mind for it, and I really, really like how she draws griffons. In my opinion, Rita on Anywhere But Here's cover is probably the best-drawn FoE griffon I've ever seen. I want to see Razorbeak drawn with that level of quality. Look at that! Look at how good that is!
Once the cover's done (though who can possibly say when that will be), I'm going to write up the prologue and chapter 1, and then I'm coming straight to you for pre-reading. I hope you don't mind.
