Sorry for being slow on Icarus guys. I'm sure literally two people are hanging on the edge of their seat waiting for me to publish.
...University's hard. I'm trying to write an essay on Hobbes and Locke this week, then I'm in an opera all next week - my time for writing fics is a little squashed, and there's a reviewer working on Icarus with me who's being really really helpful and thorough, so it's taking a while. I haven't forgotten about it though, don't worry!
Hah, that's a brilliant picture! Don't beat yourself up about meatspace getting in the way of fic. It's supposed to be fun- we all get sick or busy sometimes and that doesn't leave as much time for things like writing. Do it when you get the time- I'm looking forward to seeing your new stuff, but it's not like I'm entitled to it. Whenever you're ready to show it off, I'll be looking forward to giving it a read.

Take your time though. If you push yourself too hard and chuck out some garbage product just to be able to say you've written something, it'll be worse than if you just took the time to make it good. I think your readers would rather wait for quality than read horrid crimes against the English language. That's how I feel, anyway.
Hard? Life is very hard and it can also be annoying, painful, stressful, aggravating, lonely, depressing, confusing, A *bleep* sandwich with a side of *bleep* with extra sour *bleep* sauce. Now some perks to life to help people who read this comment that life isn't just all bad, there is love, happiness, joy, friendships, amazement, wonderment, thrills, and a box of delicious chocolates.
