Is it weird I've never watched harry potter?

I told my friend I've never seen the Harry Potter movies, and he acted like I committed a felony. Is it really that odd?

Let me put it to you this way Crit, now this is just my own opinion so take it as you will, but I found watching the Harry Potter movies after the second one, as pleasurable as rubbing my brain against a cheese grinder after soaking it in rubbing alcohol for an hour.

Truthfully they aren't too bad though, I just didn't like them.Just read the books and you'll come out ahead.

Never read the books. Saw the movies. I am absolutely certain that the books are better. In fact, if I had to write the books by only watching the movies, I'd make the books better and I can't write for shit.
