So, I has a problem... · 4:57am Jan 7th, 2013
... and this is kind of recurring.
Y'know how you can just hover over a user and just press follow? Well, when I do, I usually have to press the follow button many times to actually follow them. Now, all this did was make me a little impatient, because it'd only take like five to ten seconds to get myself to follow them. BUT... for the last FIVE MINUTES, I have not been able to follow ANYONE. Why?
EDIT: So it's been half an hour since the problem started, and it's still there. I tried refreshing, and restarting Firefox. But it hasn't worked. Can someone else test this, see if they're having the same problem? Just go to my profile and follow someone you're NOT already following. Please? Because if this is a problem not unique to me, we should report it to Knighty or something, I guess.
Pausing my uTorrent download had no effect either, and I'm not downloading anything else.
Is it possible you were the first person on the site to hit the follow limit?
685950 Nah, donus had likeā¦ 2k+
685950
But I'm only following 802 people, and the profile I'm on is following 1,800 +

Can you test this please while I start up mah dusty old Chrome?
EDIT: Still does it with Chrome...
When that happens, try reloading the page and the follow button should work.
Believe me. I've had that problem many, many times as the Follower. You would not believe how frustrating it gets... until you learn the trick of the trade!
Cheers, mate!

Btw, just a quick question: Is FiMFiction on Chrome acting up, or is it just my computer/Chrome app? Would you be so kind as to let me know? It's been bothering me for a while.
685950 Nah, man! I follow 1.8K, and more in the future (if my WiFi would stop being so crappy on me)!

FiMFiction. I'm using Firefox, but it did it on Chrome and Firefox on my laptop, and on my mums old PC with Chrome (but only the first glitch where I have to press follow a few times before it works (and she lives in a completely different area to where I live)). I tried refreshing, closing and opening Firefox and using Chrome, but I can't follow ANYONE!
Messaged knighty about it, but he's offline at the moment.
686142 Huh, that's funny. The button works whenever I refresh it!
Because FiMFic has been acting up, I've been forced to use my blasted Internet Explorer. It's infuriating, as I'm used to Chrome.

Even restarting mah computer didn't work. IE, you say? I'll try that then.
Try logging out and back on.
WORST MOVE IN HISTORY

686266 Ha.

686268
NOW IT'S DOING IT AGAIN, I LOGGED OUT AND IN TWICE! BUCK THIS!
it might be fimfiction after all knighty redid the notifications or something earlier
686430
Oh I tried IE, same shit. I don't THINK it has anything to do with notifications. But you never know; knighty may have bawked something at the same time as doing the notifications.
686434 Trollestia just hacked knighty's account.
