Editing of the final An Apple Alone chapter is still underway. I'd say it's about 70% complete or so. Unless some really long delays happen for no reason (procrastination isn't going to happen -- I want to get this done), expect it to be posted within a week or two.AAA Chapter 8 Progress Resumes After a Long Holiday Break · 2:59pm Jan 6th, 2013
Well, the holidays are over, and I have resumed working on chapter 8! It's been a few weeks since I've written anything, but today I've gotten back into the swing of things, getting some writing done and getting back into the story. Chapter 8's draft currently sits at around 10,600 words, and is about 75% of the way done (if my vague chapter notes are any indication). I'm making it a point to get around 1,000 words a day written until the draft is done. Hopefully, this means that I can finish the draft within a couple of weeks, and get it to prereaders immediately after. I hope to release this chapter by the end of January at the latest (I hate setting hard deadlines like that, but we'll see what happens).
I really need to break the habit of the four month chapter release cycle, or else I'm never going to finish this! Anyway, stay tuned.
Cool! Even though I admit to maybe not being as up-to-date on the story as I should be, especially with the last lengthy few chapters, compared to first four (which read in about a day, when first discovered the story, I think). But really, if you're good at what you do (and think only the four-month wait has been on last few chapters, if didn't upload them initially at some other point than the dates indicated of when they were last updated) and still have hope from people if haven't announced cancelling it, they'll wait.
But still, looking forward to skimming that one! If I don't read the story as a whole sometime in the next few weeks, which probably won't, due to laziness. 
And hopefully, resuming attempting to write my own works...
