Some said 2012 would be the year of the brony. I'd say they were right. In this year, we have grown from a rapidly-expanding, but still "underground", fandom, into the juggernaut we are today. When I first got into this brony thing in summer of 2011, things were a lot different back then. While the fandom's internet crusade has more or less ended as of about a year ago, it still continues to grow quite nicely. I am really enjoying season 3 thus far; even its weaker episodes have been pretty good. The news of M. A. Larson writing the finale has pumped me up quite a bit. I won't go into any further details regarding the final four episodes of the season, as I avoid spoilers like the plague and know little else. All I'm saying is despite Fluttershy probably being my least favourite of the Mane 6, I am really looking forward to her episode on the 19th.
Anyway, on to more progress reports. Yesterday, my editor and I put the finishing touches on three more chapters, including this week's. I will be posting those on schedule, starting with sometime tomorrow so Repercussions is included in Wednesday's Story Updates post on EqD. I will be making a big push this week to try to finish off the remaining chapters before school resumes on January 7th, when I will be taking 4-5 days' worth of classes. With luck, I will have minimal work left on Repercussions when school starts to allow me time to focus on my lessons. I will be taking a theatre elective and two writing-based courses. Which ones I am taking are still up in the air, as I'm wait listed for a couple that I'd very much like to take.
Finally, I am also doing Let's Plays. How many I'm going to do is really up in the air as well. Since I don't really have "a game" to play during down time, I figured I'd focus my recreational gaming activity toward Let's Play. It's basically effortless content on my part, apart from actually commentating as I play the game and hitting record on XSplit. For those interested, here is my Youtube and related playlists. I'm probably going to play Warcraft 2 or Heroes of Might and Magic 2 once I complete Warcraft 3. One video goes up a day for each in progress LP.
