    Movie Date

Twilight and I went to the local movie theater to see the 25th Anniversary of James Cameron's 1997 film TITANIC. the film was not quite as good as I remembered it the 3D was a bit understated and wonky at times. But it was a good excuse to get out of the house and wear my Our best historically themed outfits. As we were getting ready to leave I got to chatting with one of the employees a

    Christmas Carol Update

As we near Hearth's Warming again, last evening my family and I (including Twilight) saw a brazen and unapologetically unorthodox stage production of Charles Dickens at our local art center. As this is one of my favorite non-pony stories ever, I was inspired to try picking my pen up again and putting in some more words to my ponified version of the same classic tale. I know that G4 did their own

    A Hearth's Warming Carol

In honor of Christmas, I decided to pick back up a project I started a while back, that being an MLP themed Christmas Carol, done to the best of my ability to be as true to Charles Dicken's Original novella while still holding the magic of pony. And yes, I am quite well aware that the show did a version of this story already, but as I am sure you are also aware, the show did a much-condensed

Trip to Totality · 10:17pm April 8th

I went with some friends down to Russellville Arkansas on Saturday, stayed at a lovely Air B&B, hit up an Eclipse festival downtown and then drove up to Mount Nebo National Park at around 5:45-6:30 this morning. My friend Stephanie and I hit up some of the hiking trails, got some swag, and got set up right along the top of the butte with a telescope, a viewing board, and the all important glasses and snacks.

And now unfortunately back to civilization and the tribulations of adulthood.

Sounds like a terrific time! Glad you and your friend were able to spend time together and see something amazing.

My son and I were able to see the partial eclipse here in the southeast. It was amazing to be able to share it with someone.

Our goal was Russellville. We wound up in Springfield AR overnight, then to Mountain Home, which didn't have all the giant activities, but it also didn't have the traffic, and if we had gone there, it would have been over before we got through the lines of cars. And then we came back by way of Branson, the butterfly museum, the expedition train, and a trip to the Smallin Civil War Cave. And home just now with about a hundred pounds of rocks in the car. (Yes, my wife is a science person)

Heck, we were only 120 miles away. We should have at least waved. We did post some pictures on Estee's Discord, though.

Russellville was actually not bad, the forecasted enswampment never happened. Busy yes, but not body-to-body. Granted leaving after the eclipse was a different story.
