I never follow through do I? · 7:48pm April 7th
Reading through my old blogs where there has been like, 5 new stories I promised but never got around to. Some I actually did start but haven't touched them in awhile while others were a one time thought.
So in short my writing seems to be non existent as well as my story progression
I know that feeling. I have a couple of stories I need to update and continue working on, but then I remember an old project I've put on the backburner for too long and want to get that out.
Sometimes being a content creator is difficult, whether as an artist or a writer, it can be difficult to finish one project without worrying about what to do with the sixty-something projects you've brewed up behind the scenes.
If it means anything, I haven't been all that good at following through either. Pretty sure my own count's been stuck in the low-to-mid tens for ages, and that's just from the stuff I've openly alluded to. :P
Best of luck going forward!
Yeah, it tends to be really difficult going through with that kind of stuff... I'm sorry about that. That's part of why I personally only usually focus on one project at a time... but even then, it's hardly ever easy to be consistent with writing progress.
I guess what I mean to say is, well, try not to feel bad. It's something we all struggle with, to a bigger or lesser extent, and I think it's a common occurrence among writers (especially amateurs like us) to have a long list of untouched ideas, sadly...
