Even More News (Goody)

Any updates that I said might occur will more than likely be on hold even further. Due to a hardware malfunction on my computer, I am sending my computer in to be repaired. This also involved an agonizingly long troubleshooting session that forced me to set the computer to its factory settings, effectively wiping my hard drive (although all my data has been backed up on an external, so any progress I've made on my stories is safe). This means that the hardware that I need to install to type my stories (Microsoft Word) will need to be re-installed. I hope that I can install Office again.

In the meantime, I have to use my family members' devices and/or computers to do any Internet browsing and updates if need be (using my mother's iPad to write this). I hope to receive a tablet of some kind by Christmas, but for the most part, progress of any kind is at a standstill.

I'm sorry for these circumstances. Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to drown my grief in Beefeater. Happy holidays again.

mostly because my laptop's broken, too. :-(
