Didn't do all that much reading in the last few months aside from re-reading Lyra's Ultimate Item Emporium (still awesome) and catching up on the new chapters of Shattered Pentacle, also tried re-reading The Things Tavi Says but burned out on it. Anyway, here are some oneshots and an ongoing fic:
• Brat out of Tartarus by by FanOfMostEverything
Hades crossover lessgo! The characters were spot-on as far as I can tell. And Discord getting a chance to reunite with his parent while pulling off a (justified) deus ex machina at the same time was a nice touch! And Equestria!Cerberus got some love!
Always loved seeing FOME's comments on various pony sites but this fic marks the first time I've actually read a story of their writing, and it didn't disappoint! Maybe I'll check out some other stories of theirs, we'll see.

Can Cozy be actually redeemed? A riddle for the ages I guess. But her escapes and escapades here sure are hilarious.
• You Hired Me Three Years Ago. by overlord-flinx
Okay, I'm confused. Is Twilight the only one forgetting Wallflower? Does Wallflower erase Twilight's memories specifically? And how'd she do that since the memory erasing stone (forgot its exact name) was in the human realm all along? Or is Pony!Wallflower just cursed to match her human counterpart? So many questions, so few answers, but it's a comedy fic, I know I know, I shouldn't overanalyze a silly oneshot (too much). Overall, the humor didn't quite vibe with me but the story was still likable.

A nice fusion of EG into the G5 canon. Not sure what else to say. I sure do hope Equestria Girls' world is gonna be revisited in G5 somehow though.
• Going Up by Chris
A brilliantly narrated fun and fluff short with a classic duo of carrot horse and muffin horse, re-reading it after all these years felt great.
• [Ongoing] Hand of the Ancients by Starscribe
Minthorse IN SPACE! The second story of the author I've been reading and uhh. Not sure how I feel about this one so far. Shattered Pentacle works a lot better for me not in the least because it's about humans that are originally humans and this one... from a pony story, even while a T-rated one, I find some details a bit too much for my comfort. Muffin horse's characterization here is also not quite my cup of tea. Bon Bon's humanization was also kinda glossed over, considering her previous resistance to the idea. Still, the setting is intriguing, plus Lyra's connection to humans here is way different from the overused "humankin conspiracy nut" fanon which I still dislike, so I'm gonna tag along for the ride to hopefully see an ending.
Well, this is certainly one way to find out how someone felt about one of my stories. Glad to see you enjoyed it! Feel free to leave a comment on the fic itself as well in the future.

Yeah, sorry it was rather indirect, I don't feel all too comfortable with putting my opinions in the comments all too often. Plus words are hard and words to leave in other people's spaces are even harder. But yeah, liked this fic a lot, glad I've read it! ^_^
