Chapter 1 Rewritten · 11:30am February 6th
Because of new readers from My Guardian Cozy, and because I said I would many months ago, I've rewritten chapter 1 of Dawn Adopted. Hopefully it's better, but at least it's objectively 2.5 times longer. 3,804 words vs 9,567. If there is a difference in prose fingers crossed the jump from chapter 1 and 2 isn't too unbearable. Next chapter of DA will be 3.5K words, but I feel like calling it part 1 of a 3 parter. All Luster. Too many new characters. This is a very "Everyone is Here" type fic.

What did you add to the chapter to make it so long? Not that I'm complaining, on the contrary I'm quite excited, but are these 6k extra words just to create a better bridge with the prequel? Or did you add other things? Actually I should just go read it instead of just asking

You've already read it but yeah I've just added some dialogue. The next chapter should be out before the weekend. It'll be the most boring chapter because so much happens afterwards. No Flurry yet but trust me, I have plans.
