Yeah. Plus, we're in a day and age where cosplayers are extremely common. It wouldn't be hard for humans to assume the turtles are cosplayers.

REALLY good work on this first chapter of your spin on the Turtles. Definitely loved how well you did balancing the humor and the action, which is a must for a good TMNT story. And your spin on the Turtles' mother was an extremely welcome touch. The avoiding on the panic from somebody the heroes were trying to help was also really appreciated.

On another note, I don't know if anybody actually did a Spider-Man/Ninja Turtles crossover, but if they haven't, then it seems like such a natural. Both operate in New York, both got their starts as heroes when they were - well, teenagers, both experienced - well, mutations and both encounter a rather wide range of fantastic enemies. Heck, Spidey even has a personality that would mesh well with the Turtles (Donatello and Mikey in particular would get along with Spidey rather well).

As for the villains of such a crossover, you couldn't go wrong with the Green Goblin and the Shredder.

Yeah that’s fitting since he does work in the sewer and pick things from the dusmster, and salvage alien or advance parts, but still his inventions are impressive

Makes a great deal of sense (along with everything else that was explained so far). Of course, I could also see Mikey doing part-time work as a "costumed party clown" (as you pointed out yourself, it would be quite easy to explain away the "mutant turtle look" by going for the costumed performer excuse) in order to get pizza money for himself and his brothers (they can find almost anything else they need to survive either in the sewers, in junkyards or salvaged alien parts).
