Hello Everyone!
I got into a writing slump the last few weeks as I got stuck with my new book and whenever I get into those moods I tend to read a lot. Usually I go back and reread some of my older works that are unfinished to try and get the creative flow started again. This time...I had the random urge to go back to my roots. Back to where it all started. I reread my entire 'Mending Series' and I honestly forgot how much I loved the ship and the strange little world I created. I have to once more thank all of you as rereading your comments also filled my heart with so much warmth that it reminded me why I enjoy writing so much! I love seeing everyone enjoying what I write and all your kind words motivate me further in my journey. I wish I had the ability to write for this pair again, but that part of my story is over and honestly I'm proud of everything that happened. I wanted to write this as a thank you to all that have read my stories and all those that continue to read them today. I'm so glad that this amazing fandom helped spark that love of writing in my heart and encouraged me to get to where I am now.
I also wanted to write this in order to urge those that like my writing style and stories to go read my newest book. Right now only the first five chapters are available to read as I am in the process of finishing it and publishing it. I know I said that about my other book, but after rereading it over I just wasn't as satisfied with how it went. So I decided to leave it up in its entirety. However, I can say I am so proud of this new book that I had that "This is the one!" moment when thinking about it. If I only ever publish one book I would be proud for it to be this one. And after reading my fanfiction again I understand why a little better. It goes back to my love of Beauty and the Beast. It is what I love to write for the most and I hope it continues the way I have it envisioned in my head.
Anyways, the book is called 'A Demon's Turmoil' and is a love story about a Demon King and a sorceress who takes the place of his 'would-be bride'. But she has a secret that she offers to the King's service in order to retain the peace agreement between their species. In their time together a fiery spark connects the two until neither can resist its pull. Even if this isn't your cup of tea I want to say again, with all my heart, how much I love and appreciate you guys. I cannot fully express how much it means to me all the support and love you gave me all those years ago when I was still trying to get my footing. When I was trying to find my own style and the growth you all helped in creating. I hope to hear from you again, but if I don't then just know that it has been an honor being on this journey with all of you. I hope that your hearts continue to be filled with warm fuzzies as you read the best romance stories out there as we will forever remain united in our love of Discord and his sweet little Fluttershy! but it makes me feel good too and helps boost my confidence. Knowing there are ppl who still like what I wrote then helps keep me focused and stops me from chickening out from publishing. Especially as I feel I've grown leaps n bounds since my Mending Series. Thank you for taking the time to comment!
