Hello all. Well, it's been a couple days since the 25th. Hope you all had a good time on the big day itself, and since.

Just for fun, wanted to make a counting of some of the loot I received this Christmas.

- Spider-Man: Miles Morales for PS4.
- Ultraman: The Official Novel of the Series by Pat Cadigan. My dad and I watched (and loved) the original show in previous years, and seeing it novelized sounds like an interesting experience for sure. ^_^
- The Rise and Reign of the Mammals: A New History, from the Shadow of the Dinosaurs to Us, by Stephen Brusatte. I loved the author's previous book telling the scientific history of the dinosaurs, so a sequel about the age of mammals has definitely got my attention.
- Gunfight: My Battle Against the Industry that Radicalized America by Ryan Busse. Much more serious than the others, but still important to my view. A former firearms company executive's calling out of the industry's path in recent decades; I first saw this in a local bookstore while visiting my sister in Wisconsin, and I'm thrilled she remembered me talking about it.
- Sandman Omnibus volume 1, by Neil Gaiman. I've heard a lot of good things about this comic, and a buddy of mine decided to grace me with a copy. (My brother-in-law will be thrilled. He adores Gaiman XD)
- TMNT The Last Ronin: The Lost Years, by Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz. I read "The Last Ronin" earlier this winter and it was quite good. Looking forward to seeing more of this universe.

- $30 gift card to my local comics shop

I've already deposited the majority of the cash, though I have since burned through the gift cards.

Some of that loot includes:
- Blu-Rays collections of the original Ultra Q and Ultraman
- Usagi Yojimbo omnibus volume 8, by Stan Sakai. (Cannot recommend this book highly enough!)
- Our Encounters with Evil and Other Stories, Library Edition, by Mike Mignola.
