Since Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale have officially come to an end, where will we go from here? I always thought it was weird that Make Your Mark set up a new villain with Allura even though it was gonna be over. At least for the foreseeable future.
They've been saying for a while that the focus is gonna be on Tell Your Tale from now on and I even remember rumors that Tell Your Tale is gonna move over to Netflix from YouTube. I don't know how much of it is gonna actually happen, but if it does, I wonder if it'll mean that Tell Your Tale would feature full length episodes from then on.
What do you think?
Does it really matter at this point? If we're being honest, Make Your Mark has been a pretty atrocious failure and unfortunately Tell Your Tale does nothing as far as plot development 99% of the time.
Opaline has been around since essentially the beginning and all they've managed to do with her is retcon G4.
With how good A New Generation was I really had hoped they'd be able to make something special. Not something as special as G4, but still, something that resonated with fans of that series and long time fans. With the great cast (Sunny, Zipp, Pipp, Izzy, and generic male pony.(that's a joke btw.)) they really had the opportunity. Once they moved to the show from the movie though, they clearly just didn't put as much effort.
I'm rambling. I'll just answer your question. Tell Your Tale is probably cheaper to produce. I'm assuming they'll stick with that and churn out schlock because most G5 apologists will accept anything they're given and say it's good.

I really liked the movie but MYM has been very hit and miss for me. TYT had some decent episodes, but overall, yeah. G5 failed to reach its potential. At least, so far.

I was so happy moving from A New Generation to Make Your Mark. I absolutely adore Izzy. Kimiko Glenn did an insanely good job and I honestly think she is one of the best VA's in all of MLP. Ana Sani? No offense at all to her personally but she is just... not good. When you deliver lines like this...

What pissed me off about MYM (az least the first special) is what they did do Hitch! He went from the responsible sheriff of Maretime Bay to an absolutely useless moron!

Yeah, his change in character was so weird. I really don't understand why they did that either.
