That awkward moment when I've only posted about 1k words in the last two months but my stories are still getting new favs every day. · 4:36am Dec 21st, 2012
...yeah.
Seriously, though. Like... updates or something I guess. Coming soon, all that jazz. Soon as in not now. I don't know why people are still favoriting my ancient stories. Pretty in Pink just got a new one today. That's always happening. I have no idea why. It's been almost a year and a half since EqD took it. I'd have thought everyone who was going to find it would have found it by now.
Not like I'm complaining. It's just always catching me off guard. I blame Azekahh. I could blame prosdkr too, but I won't.
Okay
Why is this so surprising? New fans come in all the time. Some look through the EqD fanfiction list and check them out. I know I did when I first started getting to know this fandom. And some people might have your story on their Read Later List and finally got to it. After reading, POP!, favorited!
Heck, MY stuff still manages to pull in a few upvotes and favorites every now and then and I haven't posted anything to my account in months.
I also think it's how original your title is since if a search is done for pink, Pretty in Pink might be one of the higher search results. Lots of reasons!
Keep at it!
639927 I was about to disagree with you, saying that Wikipedia, iMDB and Youtube links for both the John Hughes movie and the Psychadelic Furs song I swiped the title from would have at least 10 pages of results, but then I actually googled it and... lo and behold, I'm #8 of the first ten.
I'm actually kind of amazed. This means John Hughes fans everywhere are reading my story.
