Like the title says.
But hey-o. Bad brain chemicals make ya do weird things. Even when one of those things is posting about your feelings online. Which is, like, one of the worst things you can do.
Probably not gonna matter too much anyway. Not like anyone reads these posts. Last one I made certainly proves that.
Seriously, though. What is it about being sad and horny at the same time that makes the sad part so much worse? For real. Turns that shit from like a minor depression into a major.
But yeah. Sometimes I regret ever deciding to post both my safe and explicit stuff on the same account. I remember early on when all I had posted was safe, and seriously debated whether splitting accounts.
But also, like, shit. By the time I had to seriously consider that i'd already gone blind, and it's a pain in the ass enough to manage one account anywhere, let alone two.
And now here I am. Staring down the barrel of my safe, story-centric stuff getting tat for engagement, and the porn gets all the numbers.
I shouldn't be surprised. Really, I'm not. But I can't stop myself from wondering 'Hey, if you split it up like you thought you should, maybe it'd be better'. Cause, idk. I guess the porn stuff makes you less respectable/'true' a writer in some peoples' eyes.
A lot of peoples', I think.
Or that's what my brain tells itself. I really can't know for sure.
Still sucks, though.
For the record, I read your posts when I can and you better believe I enjoy your work.

I have no idea whether it's something you can hope to recover from or not. I hope it is. I'm sure this hasn't been an easy change to take.
Also, I know fimfic writers who use the two accounts strategy, and fimfic writers who use the single account system, and I hear there are pluses and minuses to either method. I'll admit I'm not a big follower of the porn, but that doesn't make me think you're a bad writer.
Sometimes the best stories don't get the best numbers. The 'best numbers' are influenced both by what more fimfic readers want, and by some luck too.

With regards to the account and clop stuff, yeah, I've heard some pros and cons of both. I'm still not sure whether the idea I made was the right one, but whatever, y'know? Decision's been made and in place for a while now, just gotta deal.
As for the blindness, I believe the last thing I ever published with my vision mostly intact was Raging Fire. Everything since has been effectively blind, though I receive help from my partner since there are many things my screenreader can't do on the website.
I know I'm a little late on this but, after I've read what you've said it got me wondering what did you mean by it. Then i decided to look at lther stories you have. And i have to say, You're one horny man. And i respect that.
Safe to say i got quite shocked when i saw your... dark side. BUT, if they are as well written as cooling Embers, I'm willing to give them a try, Horny is not really my preferred tag, but fuck it.
