Hi!
I'll start simple. The point of this blog post is mostly just to say: I am still working on "Applejack and Rarity: Scenes from a relationship.". I'm over halfway through writing the second chapter right now! I know it's going... slowly. I've managed to publish two one-shots in the time it's taken me to write half a chapter, yes, but I want to make sure chapter 2 is good. I want to take my time. Just call my other fics practice! 
I started this fic because I had a story I was passionate about and a story I wanted to tell, so I will tell it. Even if it kills me. (Okay, maybe not.)
Speaking of my other fics, I'm really shocked with the reception I've gotten for "colts don't cry". Thank you to everyone who read it, everyone who liked it, and everyone who left a thumbs up! It really does mean a lot to me. Like, really. It was a weird, feverous, almost personal story (not the, uh, cousin kissing stuff though) so it really is insane to me to see people able to connect with it and enjoy it. Thank you.
Oh, and I know "Sugarcube Maud-ner" is a pretty big change of pace from my other fics - I don't want people to think I've given up on my quest to be the most pretentious fimfic user just yet. I'm mainly writing it as a chance to practice a bit more of light, fluffy dialogue since I've hit a bit of a brick wall with AJARY:SFAR for a scene that requires a lot of light, fluffy dialogue. I might write more fics like this. I might not. Either way, I won't let it get in the way of my dense, obsessive, pretentious calling. AJARY:SFAR will be worked on, along with any other heavy, weird, overly prosaic stories that come to mind.
Anyway, no matter why you're here - thank you. I hope you enjoy whatever I end up churning out next. (Hopefully chapter 2.)
