My BRAND NEW, and rather expensive computer has decided it doesn't want to work for me anymore. So now my editor and I can't really edit the chapters properly.Um...hey there. · 7:38pm Oct 7th, 2023
Good afternoon.
This has been a long time coming.
First, I have not stopped writing. The story is still continuing though I wish the pacing could be better.
Part of that is the new job. It has taken far more of my time than I wanted. Not to mention I am working hard to get into the easier division within the company so I can actually have more time to work on my story.
Another distraction has been my editor. They've been working twelves for the past 4 months, and that has taken it's toil on their mental capacity for my particular brand of bullshit. Now they are sick and I am doing what I can to get them to feel better.
Lastly, I've been depressed. To me it's a lame excuse, but I can't seem to focus longer than an hour here and there. And it's eating me alive to know I'm so far behind. Which makes me more depressed.
At the moment the next chapter is 90% complete, and I am working hard to get it the rest of the way for my editors' approval.
One last thing. The book cover for Blurring Realities is done. It'll be going up the day I post the new chapter.....fucking finally.
Well, that's all I got to say,band this is mostly me just apologizing for such a long delay in posting. I promise, I'm trying.

What's important is that you take the time you need to be healthy in both body, in mind, and emotionally! I would humbly request that you don't beat yourself up over missing a self-imposed deadline; as good stories of this nature cannot be rushed.
Best wishes to your editor also! 12 hour days are harsh, but hopefully they're making bank with the over-time! (Here's to hoping that the laws in their state make employers give more than the standard 1.5x :P) Remember, we're rooting for you; both for your job and for the story.
