Been a little bit.

So yeah, it's been a while. I guess I get to share a little news.
First off, I'm making a little progress on finding a new place. I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I'm pre-approved for a mortgage, and now I'm talking to realtors. If I'm lucky, by the end of this summer, I'll have found a place and moved into it.

Same as it ever was...

Alas, no change on my part. Work is still driving me nuts, I'm still procrastinating, and while I have important things that need to get done, I'm having a lot of trouble getting those important things done...and I'm being discouraged from doing those things, which just makes it worse.

I've been a little bit, haven't I?

Work is keeping me busy, but we have new people, so things do appear to be easing up. Creative efforts are still stymied, but I have every intention of having the next Q&A round ready by the end of this month. That will, of course, depend entirely upon whether I get distracted by the DLC for Pokémon Scarlet.

Beyond that is still up in the air. My efforts to find a new place to live are still delayed - an apartment doesn't suit my needs, a townhouse is too expensive, and now the best option is a mortgage on a small house (!) which could be difficult.

Right now, the plan is thus. If I can find a new place, I will resume all of my creative efforts and cycle between my writings and my customizations. If I can't, I'll focus my free time on my writings. Either way, I hope to resume all of my efforts come January. I just hope it's the former rather than the latter.
