Remember that D&D campaign I talked about?
Yup, it got cancelled.
The group I had been playing in multiple campaigns with, some even at the same time, split in half. Essentially, the original group slowly started losing members due to scheduling and other life stuff. So I supplemented with some of my own friends who were into dnd. I thought it was going great, but it didn't really work out. Apparently, a few members of the original side of the group didn't like one of the members of the other side and decided to just leave the campaigns. So all of the campaigns lost roughly half the members, and one of the campaigns would be left without a DM.
Sometimes, people are just like that and that's okay... I just wished the people with complaints actually said something to the people they had a problem with. Instead, I was left to break the news to my friends on both sides...
Fun.
I'll also be moving here in roughly two weeks, though I doubt it will affect my schedule. cough cough what schedule
On a brighter note: Chapter tomorrow / this morning! It's already written out, I just want to look over it more and make any final decisions.
It’s not easy to keep a good game group together long term. I definitely know that feeling.
Meanwhile I'm in the market for some more ponyfinder and can't find any more groups beyond the one I'm in.
I know how hard it is to keep a group, and it's such a shame to lose one to miscommunication.
