autumn came early

So apparently the theatrical program at my school is being put on indefinite hold because the district is reviewing whether or not to fire my director. And in the meantime, the program and all of the classes are being left in the hands of 9 teenagers.

There aren’t any qualified subs and they don’t want to hire anyone permanently because everything is kind of up in the air right now. But I get to teach a high school class mostly by myself tomorrow. Probably for the rest of the semester at least. I’ll really eat my words if I’m wrong but if I am wrong then my life will become significantly easier. So it’s a lose lose either way 😄

I’ll have to do more research. Hopefully I’ll be able to piece more together.
