Okay, to avoid spoilers I thought I'd put this in. I suspected that he might be her dad for a while now but that video seems to just officially confirm it. Don't read down below if you haven't watched the video and don't want spoilers! If you'd prefer to just wait till it all comes out I respect that. Leave now in that case. 
So, looks like Alphabittle is Misty's father, which I kind of got the feeling of from the way that he looked at her during the manerade ball. Alphabittle actually had a picture of Misty when she was a filly and they were shown hugging so looks like Misty found one member of her family. And if Alphabittle and Queen Haven marry, Zipp and Pipp will become Misty's new sisters! Eek!

Yeah I was pretty excited that they are going to explain about that how he reacted back in the party and I was also had some suspicious about that and we were right about that this would be nice to see this reunion
