Well hello hello, everyone who reads this! It's been... an even longer time since last time, hasn't it? I know it has. 
Soooooo, ever since the last time I posted anything here, a lot has happened in both my personal and fandom life, both good and bad. I could make a long extensive list, but I won't bore you with the details. I just thought I'd dust off this account a little and do this wee blog post to cover two things:
1. A lot of you may be wondering about this year's lack of Flashlight Week. To put it very, very shortly: Both Angy and I, the admins of the event, have pretty much moved on from our MLP/EqG fanatism. It still holds a VERY special place in our hearts and we will always care for these characters, but we are simply more interested in making content for other things and/or are focusing more in other, not necessarily fandom-related stuff. However, we do plan to make one last Flashlight Week as a sort of farewell to our event. We still haven't officially settled on a date, but it shall be announced relatively soon. I'll probably make another blog post when we do, in case any of you want to participate in the final one that we'll be hosting. But remember, friends: Official week or not, every week is Flashlight week in our hearts. 
2. I'm writing an OCxCanon fanfic! In case any of you are familiar with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), a couple of years ago, I created an original character for it, and have since developed her story TREMENDOUSLY with the help of fellow Flashlighter, Julienne Dy. My character's own story as well as eventual love story with character Bucky Barnes became developed enough to be turned into a fanfic, so after a failed attempted at making it a comic, I've finally started posting the fic! So if any of you like romances that are: wholesome, angsty with a happy ending, that involve healing, a background of superhero shenanigans, and are okay with OC x Canon, I'd recommend checking it out! It's a bit of a slowburn (down to getting to the part of the two lovers meeting), but if you ask me, I think the wait is worth it once you get to the good stuff.

I'm not to big into OCXCannon stuff, but I am glad that you made one more blog on the site. Thank you for your wonderful stories and artwork on DeviantArt. I can not wait for this one last FlashLight week, and hope that you and Angy are doing well. Also, I haven't heard of Julienne before. If you have any links to her own stories or any other FlashLight work she has made, I would like to see it.

That's okay. I'm glad you've enjoyed my previous Flashlight content. I don't think I'll stop making it altogether, it'll just be extremely sporadic from now on. As for Julienne, I met her through YouTube back when I used to make Flashlight PMVs. She's a very talented writer but doesn't have any published stories yet, she's only shown me some privately. Hopefully she'll make some of them public someday, because they're very enjoyable.
Damn, that took me out of guard. It's a shame that the flashlight week would be over but i'm happy that you decided to focus on projects you feel more passionate about.
I am going to miss FlashLight week. I noticed its absence this year and was worried. But I understand your decision on this. Even if FlashLight week ends, FlashLight itself will never die.
You know what they say. “All good things must come to an end.” That being said, Ro, I admire your decision and encourage you to pursue your current interests. Thanks for all the great Flashlight work you’ve made over the years.
