Sonic Prime: Season 2 Review · 7:26pm Jul 13th, 2023
Another day, another Sonic Prime Season to review. Of course, spoilers ahead, so GET OUT OF HERE IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED IT!
Honestly? Forget what I say: This is THE BEST written Shadow since Sonic 06.
He cares for the job, he wants to save his home as well, and yes: He's completely justified to be mad with Sonic. I rewatched Season 1 yesterday, and yes, Sonic's an idiot in Prime. Every single punch he got this second season? Deserved, every single one of them.
The interactions between Rusty Rose and Black Rose are probably my favorite thing of this Season, and I cannot wait for Season 3 where I know they're gonna met Thorn Rose as well!
Every single episode is packed with action, and that's a massive step up from the previous season! I liked that as well.
Now, what do I think about Chaos Sonic (a.k.a. Prime Metal Sonic)? He's the most annoying character ever created, and that's exactly why I love him. He's supposed to be Sonic's robotic equal, a clone created to show Sonic everything that's wrong with him, and how to fix it as well.
Finally, Nine's betrayal was predictable, in my opinion, but I didn't expected him to be so cold with Sonic. Of course, Shadow's gonna beat the crap out of Sonic in Season 3 because he was right all along and Sonic's an idiot... Seriously, what's this thing of making Sonic so reckless lately? In Frontiers was justified at least, but in the movies and Prime? I don't know if I like this vision of Sonic anymore...
Also, I wanna tell you all that TYT comes back from hiatus on July 20th. No special reason for this one, I simply wanna take a break for a few days after completing Season 2. Also, we're back with two episodes a day! It's been 8 months since the last time that happened... I feel old...
Anyways, thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you all around. Bye!

That's great to hear buddy, and yeah, season 2 of Sonic Prime was awesome!
I knew German Tails couldn’t be trusted.
I feel like Nines betrayal could have been seen, but people kept thinking he would side with the chaos council. I feel like it’s more that him being turn into a villain is more a reality check on Sonic for him trusting Nine like he was the real Tails instead of being a different person. This will likely be a better test & conflict for Sonic than the chaos council. The fact having to face reality that if he wants the tails he knows and cares for back, along with his friends & home, he has to beat the version that Tails would have become if Sonic wasn’t in his life or there to deal with the bullies.
Also I can imagine Shadow would want to let off some steam by beating Sonic up for what he saw & Sonic not taking Shadows warning of not treating the others like they are the friends he knows. Though I will not be surprised if after that, Shadow tells Sonic that they have time to still fix this and Sonic has to trust Shadow more if they ever want to put things right.
How is Sonic is going to fix this? He needs to get the Chaos Emeralds to become Super Sonic if they are still in existence. They may have the power to restore the prism to its original state and give Nine a Super Sayian style beating get him to realize that the whole world needs to be brought back together before something terrible happens.
