Let’s talk about Equestrian Pride · 11:50am Jul 1st, 2023
This is an update to my last blog post. So it’s been brought to my attention (thank you Briarlight) that my new story ‘Equestrian Pride’ was likely being disliked not through any fault of my own but that some users on this site simply dislike LGBT stories on principle. Looking back at the comment sections on some stories I’ve read I feel stupid for not realising this myself. Thus I have decided against deleting the story. However I still feel I can do better for my three favourite G5 ships than the rush job that was Equestrian Pride so look forward to a story focusing on Starbow, Stormblazer and Brightpetal. This likely won’t be out for a while since I currently have an ongoing G5 Equestria Girls story and I feel that two ongoing stories would be too much to keep track of. Said Equestria Girls story, ‘My Little Pony New Generation Girls’, also features the same three ships mentioned above and currently has five chapters out if you’re curious. And to those few of you who ship Brightpetal like I do, look forward to a one shot focused on that ship coming in the near future.
