I ended up downloading this a few months ago. It's free to play, and available on PC, PS4, PS5, IOS and Android. And, by the way, it's stunningly good.

The open world is rich and fun to explore. The combat is very complex and has enormous nuance, but the game isn't actually difficult so you can still get through it even if you're not much good at it. And the focus is, very refreshingly indeed, on story and character. The art style is obviously anime-influenced, and the voice acting matches it perfectly.

So, this is Ningguang, the wealthiest merchant alive and de-facto queen of the world:

This is Beidou, the captain of a pirate fleet, who absolutely refuses to follow the rules:

And this is a college AU of what happens when they meet.

And you know what really sells this game? In any other fandom, this would be a crackship enjoyed by a whole three people, just like Dagifire.
In Genshin, it's the most loved ship around.
