Hello, everyone!
So, I debated whether or not I should make this blog post, but I decided that I would go ahead and give you an update on where I am exactly with the next chapter. As I said in my last couple of posts, I am taking a break, so this chapter will take a while to be uploaded, but I have gotten some progress on it done. Currently, it is at about 4k words with a lot more planned. It will take a while for me to edit this chapter since I have to go back over some previous material of mine to make sure that I eliminate any plot holes.
Especially since this chapter will have a big reveal~
But now let's get to the bigger news involved with this chapter.
This new chapter will have FIVE references to previous chapters in the Sundagioverse. Some of them obvious, some of them vague. I am willing to put 20 dollars on the line (or an equivalent story request) for whoever can point out all or the most references and what chapters they are pointing back to. The first TWO people who point out the references will get a free story request or a 20 dollar gift card. If no one gets all five correct, then the first person who named the next highest number of references will get a prize. The deadline for the entries is exactly one week after my next chapter uploads, which will probably be uploaded on June 28th. You can direct message me with what you think the references are or you can comment on the chapter once it releases. I will announce whenever a winner/s are picked and then I will communicate with the winner/s to give them their prizes. If you would like something other than a 20 dollar Gift Card or a free story request, I would be open to cooperation.
In case you don't know, here is a reminder of ALL the stories in the Sundagioverse. A Dazzling World, A Shimmering Heartbreak, Siren Days, Follow Suit, Apple Bloom's Regrets, A Spooky Scary Siren, That Warm Smile, and A Dazzling Trio. The only stories I can confirm won't have any references in this chapter are Apple Bloom's Regrets and Follow Suit. Everything else is fair game.
Now for the rules (Don't worry, there aren't many).
In order to win, participants will have to name exactly what is a reference in the latest chapter AS WELL AS pointing out what chapter it is from. I.e. "Sunset compared the color of Adagio's skin to a ball again, which is a reference to Final Bonus Chapter III: Holding Your Hand in the story A Dazzling World".
Participants will also have to name the keyword in the newest chapter once it releases to prove that they read the chapter. The keyword will be in bold.
Other than that? Nothing. That's all of the requirements. Name exactly what the references are and what keyword is included in the chapter. So, are you interested?
I sound a bit interested but I feel like even if I do find a reference I'd forget what chapter it originated from.
