Dungeon games? Yeah, they're a good way to waste a few hours. The trick is to know the map and plan appropriately. Of course, it doesn't matter if you get beaten. You revise your plan for that map and do a bit better next time. Man, it'd really suck to wake up as a dungeon heart in a fantasy world you know nothing about, barely able to even work out how to control your dungeon. Lucky that wouldn't happen to anybody, huh? What with only having one chance at getting things right, you'd have to plan extra-defensive.
Huh. Didn't see that last wrinkle coming. Nor the berserk werewolves in general, I can only imagine what they think they'll be able to do with Astrid... and what she thinks of being held captive by pit monsters, heretics, and heretic pit monsters.
5731702 There is indeed a lot of deep thinking for her coming up. The easy road would have been to die, but the spirit can be tenacious and cling to existence more than the mind is capable of accepting.
I've been ignoring these blogs all this time because >no hooves. I finally read it because I was low on backlog, and I've loved it. Not usually a fan of LitRPG because obtuse stat blocks don't play nicely with TTS that I usually rely on, but this isn't as egregious as most. You've lead me to both a new story to follow, and a site for fiction I wasn't aware of. So thanks for that.
